Sheltair to Break Ground on New Hangar and Office Complex at Tampa International Airport
TAMPA, Fla. / October 12, 2021 / Aviation News – Aiming to meet the growing needs of aircraft operators in the Tampa Bay Area, Sheltair Aviation has announced that it will break ground on its new hangar and office complex at the Tampa International Airport (TPA) On October 21st, 2021. The $25-million facility is expected to be completed in the Fall of 2022. This new development will include over 77,000 square feet of hangar space and an additional 32,000 square feet of office space.

Sheltair’s new hangar and office complex will provide four state-of-the-art hangars ranging from 14,562 to 33,269 square feet, each with build-to-suit office spaces ranging from 5,700 to 14,247 square feet. All four hangars feature a 28-foot door ensuring the accommodation of large-cabin class size aircraft up to the G650 or Global 7500.
